School House Rock
Hey y'all. I realize that I havent posted in quite the while, so lets do a quick catch up, even though you all know all this stuff already.
Wrote the MCAT. Craptastic day (from 7:30am-6pm), but about as hard as i expected to be, which was still by no means easy. I got personally asked to stop writing during the written part....in front of everybody. Good times, good times. Pray to jebus I do well!
Finished my lab job, though I will still be popping in periodically to do random stuff throughout the year. That job was actually pretty awesome. Though I hate the fact that i didnt have a summer, i met some great people and had wikid good times.
Saw 40-year-old virgin! I was worried I might not fully enjoy it for obvious reasons (cuz of the ick-factor and manik-is-super-uncomfortable-moments and whatnot) but it was hilarious! You know how I know you're gay? Cuz you havent watched 40-year-old virgin.
I volunteered for the orientation program for the second year in a row. Dont laugh at me. Its definately more enjoyable for the volunteers than for the delegates, as stephanie simpson Im sure can attest to. Even though I had to be at school at ungodly hours (6:50!!!! In the morning!!!) and I spent the days running around as an Orientation Program Assistant, it was still thoroughly enjoyable. I learned that I am the undisputed hula hooping champion of orientation. Dont mess with me. I'll twist you into the ground. Lauren its good practice for brown dancing, you get the hip exercise.
Hm. I guess thats about it for the catch up. So on to new things. In case you havent noticed, school started today. For once Im actually looking quite forward to it. I ran away from the honors physiology program after enduring the undoubtedly worst year in the history of time, and opted to go back to my roots in general science, bio major, arts psych minor. Seeing as how Im about 4 classes shy of my major, and virtually anything counts as biology, i finally have room in my schedule to take a variety of courses that Im interested in. And praise allah, NO LABS!!!!!
Woot! 4th year will be a different story, but we'll worry bout that later. Im looking forward to a kickbum year, hope you are too.
P.S- when do you guys have breaks? Im free mwf from 11 to 1, and tues from 3:30 to 6 (physics night class at 6, gulp), and thursdays Im done at 3:30.
P.P.S- what does P.S stand for again?
