Happiness moves in a circular motion.
I realize my lack of blog has been ever so apparent this last little while. I apologize to the fans. I ask that you embrace my long-awaited return. Im not promising anything genius, but then again do I ever?
This blog is inspired by a lovely commercial from the people of Bell Mobility. You know the one. It all takes place in an airport, as people spread infectious cheer to everyone they encounter, while the catchy tune for which my post is named after plays in the background. I really like this commercial. Like many of its kind (Im thinking of a certain one for a product/service that I cant remember, but it has a girl helping an old lady pick up her oranges, and the old lady helps a little girl over a puddle, and then the little girl fixes a man's tie, and the man gives the first girl dibs on some toy she's wants to buy which I assume is a present) this commercial fills me with cheer and good will towards men. Now I dont mean to sound like the queen of corny, but these ads honestly make me smile, because although I never really pay attention to what the ad is for, and it doesnt really fulfill its commercial purpose to make me want to buy/use this product/service, they just send such a cheerful message. And everyone could use some cheer once in a while (especially during the hell of exam season which is just around the corner).
The ad also got me thinking about a little concept that has been perpetually drilled into all our heads at a young age: what goes around comes around. It's actually quite true. Im not saying that Im a die-hard believer of karma (also not saying that Im not a believer, really not sure about it at this point) but I do like to think, that like the song says, happiness moves in a circular motion. If you treat others with respect and care good on you, god will not smite you. If you dont, well it will eventually come back to bite you on the ass, because unhappiness also moves in a circular motion.
If society was just a little bit more like the people of Bell Mobility, things would be a whole lot better. Yet another reason why TV rocks the nation.
