Glamour at the grocery store
It is important to have a respectable appearance at work.
Charmaine, the check out girl at Safeway, abides by this rule...a bit too much.
What is a "respectable appearance" for a cashier at a grocery store? I would say neat hair, a little bit of make-up if necessary (we like our bags filled with groceries, not under the employee's eyes), all topped off with a smile.
Charmaine on the other hand, took "respectable" to "red carpet". And not just any red carpet. The red carpet into whitetrashville. Some one tell me, who wears super long earring filled with sequins to work? At Safeway? What is the world coming to?
